• Google Calendar data: We access your Google Calendar data through Google APIs to synchronize events with Notion. We store your Google OAuth token to authenticate and access your Google Calendar data.
• Notion data: We access your Notion data to synchronize events with your Google Calendar. We store your Notion API token to authenticate and access your Notion data.
• CalDav data: We use CalDav to connect to other calendar services, if applicable. We store your CalDav credentials to authenticate and access these services.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide the Service: We use your Google Calendar, Notion, and CalDav data to synchronize events between your calendars and Notion.
• Improve the Service: We may use your information to enhance or improve the functionality and performance of the Service.

Data Retention

We retain your information as follows:

• Notion API token: We retain your Notion API token until you request us to delete your account.
• Calendar credentials, including Google OAuth token and CalDav credentials: We retain these credentials until you delete the synchronization setup through the user interface.

Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. We use SSL for encrypted communication and re-encrypt all stored credentials, including your Google OAuth token, Notion API token, and CalDav credentials. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Data Deletion

You can delete your calendar credentials, including Google OAuth token and CalDav credentials, through the user interface. To delete your Notion API token, you must request us to do so.

Third-Party Services

We do not share your information with third parties, and we do not use any other Google APIs or third-party services that collect or process your data.

MissingSync's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update our privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page. You are advised to review this privacy policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this privacy policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
